Kazmin is back with another blog, hey guys. I've chosen all of the videos for the film with the girls. Next, in order to fit each video into the opening sequence, I sliced it up. I then went on to add transitions. Shadows was added for the film. The alarm noises were then added once the light was turned off. I was messaging back and forth with the girls as me and the girls were all using Apple editing. It resembled creating a school assignment. I began by using a footage of the group as a whole. When the group moved farther inside the structure, the menacing music gradually became louder. I had to add in music sliding it under the video so it doesn't merge and become a text on the screen. After ensuring that I have a really ominous appearance. I always take care to remove any obtrusive background noise. But each clip needed different titles so I had to add them. First I had to decide which font for each scene. The original fonts chosen had to be changed to look more realistic.

Hey Guys Kazmin here with another blog, With determination in my heart, I sat down at my computer, ready to tackle the challenge of editing my abandoned mall horror film. I carefully reviewed the raw footage, taking note of the best takes and the most impactful performances. Jenna's portrayal of the terrified protagonist was riveting. I began by trimming the footage, removing any unnecessary shots and tightening the pacing of the film. I then focused on the audio, enhancing the eerie background noises that echoed through the abandoned mall and heightening the tension. Next, I worked on the color grading, giving the film a desaturated look to enhance the sense of abandonment and decay in the mall. I also experimented with lighting effects to create a sense of foreboding and dread in certain scenes.   I utilized my skills in visual effects to add ghostly apparitions and supernatural occurrences that Jenna's character encounters.  I woke up today and I was ready to go to school. I walked into my class and I had a great time seeing my group. First I pulled up 27 clips and seen which ones I liked the most. I then added different transitions and seen which one I liked. In some scenes I thought about cross cutting into different scenes but no. The plan today was just to see how well I could make it look for today. This was a test run for the editing process for the opening sequence. I also talked to the girls about the shades of each scene. Also making the lighting and brightness different for each scene. It is always fun working with the girls to make a film. It was fun looking back at all the clips and the memories that I made during the filming days. I tested out how good I can make the quality using my software on my tablet. I then went home in the same day and focused on it again. I watched the clips and made stuff that shouldn't be seen disappear. Like certain signs or addresses were made invisible using

Hi it's Kaz again and it's the final day of filming. It was such a fun experience exploring this place. Me and the girls already filmed half of the scenes and now it was time to finish up. Once again I started off at the park and headed to the abandoned structure. At this point it felt normal to be in such a building. I first started off recording a scene of Jenna and Savannah. This was a two shot they were talking about how dangerous being in the place was. Then I decided to move that scene to a different place on the stairs. So it became a three shot instead of two. Sofia filmed instead so I could join Jenna in the film. In this scene Jenna and Sofia got into an argument. This led me and Jenna to go into a different place to get better reception. I found a different room to go and press a button. This was one of the scenes in the planning blog the group had created. Me and Jenna proceeded to walk in the room and then I walk out.
