I woke up feeling enthusiastic about the upcoming school assignment that Noura, Hunter and I had to film in just 5 days. However, before I could focus on the filming aspect, I knew I had to prioritize my studies and homework. The day started with a healthy breakfast to fuel my brain for the day ahead. I spent the morning reviewing my notes, completing assignments, and researching key topics related to our project. As the day progressed, I took short breaks to stay refreshed and avoid burnout. By midday, I had made significant progress and felt confident in my understanding of the subject matter. After a nourishing lunch, I dove back into my studies with renewed energy. As the evening approached, I shifted my focus to filming preparations, brainstorming ideas, and organizing our shooting schedule with Noura and Hunter. We discussed the project vision, roles and responsibilities, and shared ideas to enhance the final output. With just 3 days left, I made a detailed checklist of equipment needed for filming and double-checked our script and storyboard to ensure everything was in place. The next day, I dedicated my time to practicing camera angles, setting up lighting, and rehearsing lines to perfect our performance. I also reviewed our timeline and made necessary adjustments to meet the deadline.

 Hey, it's Kazmin and this is the final project. I have picked the same partners from all my previous projects. I have practiced making two previous films and I feel I am now ready for the challenge. My whole life I've loved watching shows and movies. I always wanted to be an actor or someone to come up with movie ideas. Even in making YouTube videos it was a process that correlates to making media. I think that this experience was great, and I am happy to do my final project. I always wanted to make a film about horror or thriller or slashers. Mostly that genre I wanted to do because of a YouTube Channel called Dead Meat. They go over all the shots and angles and filming processes of horror movies and count the kills individually.   Comparing 9, the short, and 9, the full-length movie   Short Film: Me and my  groupmates ’ first impression of this short film was that it had a very intentionally eerie  style. Upon first glance, we saw a dark, muddy color scheme  that set a creepy mood for the rest of the short. This eerie first impression was also supported by the scoring of the short.  The first sounds we hear when the short begins are heavy metal clanking  (resembling the sounds of  a creepy blacksmith you may see in a horror film) and old rusted metal squeaking as it is moved .  The scoring increases in intensity as the short’s plot thickens. Once we reach the climax, where the main character fights off the main antagonist, the music is also at  its peak. Genre decision

 Hey guys welcome back to our blog, for today's blog we will be making our decision for which genre we will be using for our opening sequence. • Genre(Thriller)- After researching the thriller genre, we can say that this is a great genre for our film sequence. We can take the suspenseful, scary route for our pitch but there are a few problems with this. The first issue is that it would be hard conducting such a film with our pitch. Our pitch deals with the empty hole in a characters heart and his will to fight to fill that void, literally. It would be difficult to make a thriller film with this pitch. Although this could very well be done, it would seem odd and unfit.  • Genre(Comedy)- Comedy, this is such a magnificent genre as it brings happiness and laughter to the lives of the audience watching it.
